GLOBAL is a magazine produced by RGBI aimed at Latin Americans and Hispanics in the United States. This was the very first issue produced and printed. I was invited to take part in the project as lead designer and was able to design the majority of the magazine. A few other designers and photographers took part in the project as well and over all the whole project was definitely a team effort.
The cover was the first part of the project that was completed, and in all honesty, it was probably the most important part to have completed. With the cover done the rest of the magazine just seemed to make fall into place. The photograph was taken by RGBI's in-house photographer, Bob Kratch. I got the idea for the cover from the idea of knolling.
