Valley Keyboards Music School* requested an update to two posters that line the walls of their music store. The posters needed to serve as valuable selling points as well as modern and aesthetically pleasing decor for their studio. The previous renditions of these posters did not include photography but instead relied entirely on the typography and the message. By including photography of people engaged in playing the piano the viewer is more likely to visualize themselves playing the piano. On average, people like seeing other people doing things they themselves would like to do. Relying more on the photography rather than the typography alone helps to "hook" the viewer more and provide an opportunity for the viewer to read the entirety of the message.
